Whether you’re a pilot piloting an aircraft, a surgeon performing an operation, or an engineer constructing a building, checklists are the secret weapon of intelligent individuals. They prevent errors, ensure consistency, and make the future a tad more dependable.
Checklists also serve as an exceptional financial tool. The late Charlie Munger, who was Warren Buffett’s business partner and undoubtedly one of the most successful investors of all time, frequently emphasized the significance of checklists in his decision-making process.

In light of this, I’ve created a new “summer financial checklist” specifically tailored for the third quarter of 2026.
